I was born in NYC .Both my grandfathers were photographers. My mother is a painter , father is an Emmy winning documentary film maker and there are some accomplished  artists on both sides of my family that have strong cultural artistic influence with roots in Haiti and in Corsica (painter Jean-Michel Basquiat ,cousin on father's side) ( musician Regine  Chassagne of the band Arcade Fire,cousin on mother's side). Painting and drawing and picture taking  were my first impulses and they carried me to the design studio of Donna Karan Menswear at 21.

His paintings/and or photographs are in the collections of Donna Karan, Keith Richards and Patti Hansen, film producers Jon Gordon and Wyck Godfrey,the Washington DC AIDS Quilt ,TV food personality Catherine McCord, pharmaceutical entrepreneur Stewart Rahr, ceo of Guess Jeans e-Commerce Andrew Koven, worked with painter Marcus Suarez on ceiling murals and wall treatments at Le Petit L'Ermitage Hotel,West Hollywood CA/ Mural for LA's Best Children's after school program for the Los Angeles Mayor's Office
